Quick answer
First raid checklist
Choose your raid format, inspect the equipment check panel, and decide whether you are pursuing an Investigation before deploying. After extraction, review your loot and Replicator unlocks before starting another raid.
Checklist
A short preparation routine
- Check Open or Isolated and the location’s PvE/PvPvE rules.
- Read the equipment check panel above the Body Sleeve image.
- Resolve ammunition, armor repair and medical supply warnings.
- Use your own equipment if the goal is Investigation progress.
Guide
Use the current equipment checks
Update 0.4.0.93 added an inventory panel above the Body Sleeve image for ammunition resupply, armor repair and medical refills, including pre-raid warnings. Treat a warning as something to inspect rather than assuming your previous loadout is still ready. The same update added a medkit recharge button.
Guide
Make the return to Shelter count
Inspect newly extracted items before committing resources to more production. Extraction can unlock fusion and replication recipes, while production still depends on the required resources. The “250 Shades of Liberty” update also introduced a temporary one-way stash for evacuated items that clears before your next raid. Check it before immediately redeploying.

FAQ
Which map or weapon should I start with?
Choose from what your current raid menu and equipment allow. This checklist does not rank maps or weapons without tested comparative evidence. Use it to avoid preparation mistakes before experimenting with a loadout.
